Chris is a senior banking & financial services, corporate, FinTech and regulatory lawyer with 20+ years experience. Former Head of Legal at BT Financial Group, Consultant at Perpetual (National Head of Legal) and Zurich and Corporate Counsel at ING Australia before that.

Significant experience in banking & finance, financial services, corporate transactions and governance, risk & compliance, FinTech (blockchain/digital technology), insurance and regulatory interface and lobbying experience with APRA, ASIC, OSR, ACCC, ATO, ABA, and Treasury. Now Director of his own legal consultancy practice advising publicly listed financial institutions, SME’s and startups, and currently advises Libra Australia and is Company Secretary for national cancer charity, RedKite.

Given his deep understanding of different business environments, and the legal and regulatory context in which they operate, Chris thrives on advising and influencing at the senior executive, board and regulatory levels.

His career has spanned multiple borders including Australia, UAE, Asia, and the United States.
